You can also take advantage of some of the features you can find on professional and social networking sites. Most of these have a section that allows you to enter your college and your years of attendance. When you do this, you are instantly linked to everyone else on that networking site that has entered the same information. You can easily look through to see if the person you seek has signed up as well. If so, you can go to their profile to see what they have entered in the way of contact information.

Through some of these sources, you may be sure of a number if you find it. However, if you have to use something like a search on Google or MSN, you may not be entirely sure you have a true match between name and phone number.
