Reverse Email Finder - Find Out the Identity of the Person Who's Been Emailing You
There are times when you log into your email account, check your new messages, and find that you've been inundated with tons of junk email messages. You go and delete these messages only to find that in the next few days you have received a whole lot more messages from the same or similar individual. What can you do to stop this type of email spam from happening?
There are a couple things you can do to you in order to stop email spam. First you could report the message as a phishing scam in your email program such as Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. When you do this the company will supposedly put the information into a database in order to investigate later on. There's a lot of debate as to whether this happens or whether the service provider actually has the manpower or resources to actually investigate these occurrences.
Another thing you could do is block the individuals IP or email address in your service provider's options. For example in Hotmail you would do the following:
1. choose options
2. choose more options
3. choose safe and blocked senders
4. choose blocked senders
5. from this page you can enter an individual email address or a domain that you wish to block
Another alternative to blocking the sender is finding taking their email address and running a reverse email search. You can take this information and either conduct a free or paid search online, and find out the true identity of whomever is contacting you. After you find out the real identity you can either forward the information on to the proper authorities as a phishing or illegal scam, or block them indefinitely in each and every one of your email accounts. You can do this by gathering their real contact information and entering it into the email finder program and it should be able to give you all of the email addresses that are registered to this particular contact.
When doing anything online first and foremost the most important thing to remember is your security. You don't want to give out any of your personal information or to fall victim to one of the many scams that have been talked about on line. Always ensure that whenever you open an email message you know the true identity of the sender. If you don't know the sender then you shouldn't open that email message up until you do a little research online and find out if this particular individual is fraudulent or not.
